Md Mizanul Haque Mizan, a doctoral candidate, has received the Alberta Innovates Graduate Student Scholarship (AI GSS) for his exceptional academic accomplishments and pioneering research. His research focuses on developing sustainable and green membranes using biodegradable materials and non-toxic solvents for wastewater treatment applications. Apart from the AI GSS, Mizan has been honored with the American Water Works Association-Western Canada Section (WCS AWWA) Merit Scholarship and the University of Alberta Graduate Recruitment Scholarship. These awards acknowledge Mizan's outstanding potential and significant contributions to membrane science.
